WHAT IS IMPORTANT
Finding the right shoes can be overwhelming, and most comparison sites make it even harder to navigate. That’s why we’ve created a dedicated space where you can explore shoes tested and reviewed by the MFF Team. Rather than focusing on looks—since style is subjective—we break down the key features that truly matter for foot health, comfort, and performance. Our goal is to provide clear, informative, and unbiased insights so you can make the best choice for your feet.
Welcome to the MFF Shoe Hub - your trusted guide to better footwear.

These are the shoes that have earned our loyalty through performance, comfort, and functionality. While everyone’s needs are different, we hope this section gives you insight into the MFF team’s favourites and helps you find the right fit for your own journey!

WYDE
Wyde Footwear – Our Go-To Everyday Shoe
Wyde is a brand we’ve been deeply involved with, helping to design what has become our all-time favorite sneaker—the Arcus. With its extra underfoot cushioning, it’s the perfect choice for long days on our feet, offering both comfort and support without compromising natural foot function.

FLEETERS
Fleeters – A Team Favorite for Ground Feel & Style
Fleeters are the top choice for our team members with medium-width feet who love a closer connection to the ground. Their shoes are durable, well-shaped, and offer excellent ground feel, even for those who typically prefer a bit more cushioning. Plus, their stylish design makes them a standout both in function and aesthetics.

BAHE
Bahe – The MFF Team’s Go-To for Training & Adventure
Bahe has created a shoe that our entire team trusts for running, training, and long walks. With the addition of their new hiking boot, they’ve quickly become a team favorite. The spacious toe box provides natural comfort, while the grounding features are just an added bonus!

Feelgrounds
Feelgrounds – The MFF Team’s Favorite Slip-On & Go Shoe
Feelgrounds has become a team favorite for its effortless slip-on design and versatility. We love their slip-on models for short trips, quick gym sessions, and walks in nature. These shoes are especially popular among our team members who cycle, skate, and train strength, offering both comfort and flexibility for an active lifestyle.
FAQs
How do you test the shoes?
Each shoe is worn consistently for 30 days, allowing us to assess its fit, comfort, durability, and overall performance in real-life conditions. We test shoes for daily wear, training, running, hiking, and casual use, depending on their intended purpose. Some models are tested beyond 30 days to evaluate long-term durability and material breakdown.
During testing, we analyze key areas such as:
Toe box space – Does it allow natural toe splay?
Flexibility – Does the shoe move with the foot or restrict it?
Durability – How well does the shoe hold up to wear and tear?
Comfort – Does it feel good for long-term use?
Grip and sole thickness – Does it provide adequate ground feel and traction?
Some shoes are also cut open to analyze inner construction, materials, and overall build quality.
How do you score the shoes?
Our scoring system is based on Toe Box, Flexibility, Durability, Inner Volume, Heel Drop, Weight, Comfort, and Anatomical Fit, each rated out of 10. We then calculate an average score to provide an overall rating.
Are your reviews brand-biased?
No. While we have helped develop some models, we remain brand-agnostic and focus purely on functionality and foot health, ensuring honest assessments.
Some reviews will not get published as all are presented to the brands, being publishing.
What foot types do you consider in your reviews?
We take into account wide feet, bunions, foot shape, and overall fit to help people find shoes that best suit their needs.
Do you test shoes for specific activities?
Yes. We evaluate shoes for daily wear, training, running, hiking, and casual use, considering how well they perform for their intended purpose.
Where are the reviewed shoes made?
We always mention the manufacturing location of each shoe, as it often plays a role in quality and craftsmanship. Many of the brands we review manufacture in the EU, but we also test shoes from other regions.
Why do some shoes get lower scores?
Shoes that restrict natural movement, have a narrow toe box, poor durability, or lack flexibility tend to score lower. We always explain why a shoe received its rating.

ASSESSING
At My Foot Function, we begin by thoroughly assessing the structure of each shoe. With our extensive knowledge of shoe manufacturing and foot function, we look beyond the surface, identifying the hidden clues that determine how a shoe will impact foot health and function. Every detail matters, from materials to design, ensuring we evaluate each shoe with precision and expertise.

testing
The testing phase starts with real-world use—we wear the shoes consistently for 14-28 days, using them exactly as intended. During this period, we analyze their effect on foot health, weight distribution, and overall comfort. To go even deeper, we cut some shoes open to examine their internal structure, revealing insights that aren't visible from the outside.

APPROVAL
Shoes that pass our testing process are MFF-approved, meeting our core principles of foot health and functionality. Approved shoes are then categorized by foot width, ensuring you find the right fit. Our goal is to be as descriptive as possible, providing a detailed breakdown of each shoe based on our rigorous assessment and testing process.
